I am relatively new to RC flying. I am just starting my second year. My latest project is a Hangar 9 J3 Cub 40 that I have just completed the build on but yet to fly. I also have a Great Planes Big Stick 40. I have joined the Coweta County Radio Control Club but have not flown there yet. Right now I usually go to Griffin and fly there at a friend's house. There are several of us that meet there usually at least once a week, weather permitting. I would like to start taking advantage of my Newnan membership so I do not have to drive so far. I am about twenty five minutes away from Powers Crossroads. Half the fun of flying is being with friends. Are there any groups that meet on a semi regular basis at Powers Crossroads and when do you meet. I would like to come out and join you if you don't mind. Thanks, Dave Powell.

Hi Dave! Glad you are interested in flying RC… You've come to the right place/club! Right now things are obviously slow with 'Jack Frost' nipping at our finger tips. Once things start to warm up tho you will find that Sunday is usually the best turn-out day. I've seen as many as 60 people show up on a nice day. Average would be close to twenty I guess. There are several members there on Sundays that would be more than happy to help you out in anyway possible. If you need help off the field I can be reached at 678-524-9524. Hope to see you at the field soon! Getting the "RC-Itch" again! ha ha

Hey Don,
Thanks for grabbing the battery I left behind at PC on Tuesday. Next time you are out there just give me a call or a text message and I will come get it. I got my mini ultra stick gear fixed today, it is ready to fly again. I did some taxi checks here at the house and aligned the gear. Hopefully it will go straight down the runway next time instead of doing circles. I hope Keith got the gear fixed on his airplane. Have a good day...Dave P.
